I dreamt about it last night.
An anime themed Theme rides I had 3 ideas so far: 1. A simulator Pod (as in those things you sit in and it moves itself to simulate themovie in front of you) Based on Tenchi Muyo!'s Washu 2.Another simulator pod Based on neon genesis evangilion 3.Naruto's spinning shurikens where your put in a shuriken and span around a circle. You may post your ideas here!

There was a theme park in Japan with a Gundam ride. One of those simulator box things, like you thought about. There's a video on youtube here of what you see in the ride. It's kinda cool.
There are also a bunch of anime arcade machines I've seen... there are Initial D driving games everywhere you go, and I remember a Cobra arcade machine *the day after I saw it being announced on the-magicbox* in our local Namco arcade - in full English - it was like a lightgun game, but with linking shots like Rez. It was gone the next time I went there; I've never seen it since! I'd like to see a full sword game, the type where you stand in front and physically swing the sword, based on an anime. Maybe for Samurai Deeper Kyo; the anime version of that would suit that format the best - it's definitely the right kind of *fight, fight, fight [SPECIAL MOVE]* format show that lends itself to a videogame. But it's kinda old now. My all-time favourite anime-based arcade game is the Hokuto No Ken (Fist Of The North Star) arcade machine called Fighting Mania. You re-enact various stories from the series with your fists, with perfectly timed punches (with Hokuto No Ken, it's about accuracy more than strength), and I've seen my brother pull off a 120-hit combo in about 7 seconds in order to beat not-the-hardest mode!! It's crazy!

I could possibly see the Tenchi ride working, reminds me when Washu's machine went haywire in "Time and Space Adventures" in Tenchi Universe.

I harem ride where you stand in the middle of a room and a bunch of half naked women run in and smother you with their breasts.
Yeah maybe that wouldn't go over so well.
