I didn't watch all the way through the credits.

1.

SPOILER! (highlight to read):

I took it as the movie suddenly ending that he was probably gonna lose, which would make sense because he's probably super weak from all that walking and from the little food he had eaten, and I doubt he was getting a good nights rest. But I was okay with him losing because originally he was planning on killing himself anyway because he was alone since his wife died. I think he was okay with the fact that he probably wouldn't have walked away from that fight. From what you said of him laying his head on the wolf, I would think that the fight most likely ended in a draw. But that's just my opinion. As for the alpha giving him time to prepare, I think that was more of a Respect thing. The alpha wanted Neeson to be prepared before they fought, he wanted him at his best.

You also gotta realize that wolves are very smart. They don't attack the guy's in groups. Kinda like the guy who got killed in the beginning when he went to pee. Although one did attack that one guy when they were all standing around the fire. But I think that was more of a "I'll catch you off tactic." but I'm not for sure.

for the River scene, I would assume that if the wolves jumped in after them, they most likely would have lost that fight, but they probably would have also drowned too since Liam Neeson and that other guy were having a hard time in that river as well. As to why they wouldn't have just waited for Neeson to get outta the river, well I think that has more to do with making the movie more interesting. Cause no one wants to see someone climb out of a river after trying to keep his friend from drowning only to be mauled and killed by wolves.

I really wanna see The Grey but i'm a Liam Neilson fanboy so maybe thats part of the reason

And its funny.. The last movie I actually watched was Taken.. Such a great movie

He's a great actor. It's to bad only lately has his career really sky rocketed.

I love the movie he did with Patrick Swayze.. I forget the name off the top of my head but they were all from the bayou or something.. Lots of *** gets kicked..

Dark Shadows, but, it wasn't...what I wanted at all.

But I guess that is to be expected with movie remakes of television shows...

Why did they make Barnabas sympathetic? In the original series he was the worst person of them all. And all of the Collins were evil in their own way and they never foreshadowed on that whatsoever.
And they paired him up with Victoria and they completely forgot to add that Victoria is a Collins too. Ew. Yeah...
But, I digress.
I probably would have enjoyed it more if they...you know, didn't screw up the entire story in every way imaginable. Big fandom headache.

I don't see how still owning a VHS player is ridiculous. I have 2 VHS players (one is a DVD/VHS combo) I still have VHS tapes that have not been released on DVD, Sailor Moon fansubs by VKLL, and home videos.

It's a shame Swayze never made it into the Expendables.

If I was asked to name 100 male action stars, Swayze wouldn't make the list. Liam Neeson would tho, so he could be in the Expendables.

I'd like Jackie Chan to have a cameo as well, that would be awesome.

Swayze was kind of an action Icon in the 80's. He would have fit right in with the Expendables Crew.

I don't know. I suspect more people know Swayze from uber-chick flick Ghost than from action stuff like say, Road House.

I would say Dirty Dancing was wayy more chickish than Ghost. But I think Swayze just didn't like to be type casted, that's why he did other movies.
