there's this show on PBS called "Grannies On Safari" (might be HD only) where two older women travel around the world. one episode last month they were in Japan and i think one of them said she was an anime fan (or maybe some relative) so she went to the Gonzo studio and interviewed somebody.

ya, i got nothing.

Gwen Stefani. She is pretty big into the Japanese thing from what I hear. One of her No Doubt videos was based on the Hentai, Kite, and she had the Jrock band "Charge Up" open for her before.

Also, as much of respect they lost from me, Linkin Park seems to like that stuff...I remember their "Somewhere I Belong" video having a Gundam figure in it.

I know at least one person from Linkin Park is an anime fan. I remember seeing anime posters and gundam models in a room from a music video I saw. I know it was a song from Meteora.
