SNK Card Fighters DS

Has anyone picked this up yet? I'm an SNK fan and I'm curious if this game is worth getting. I'm not a big fan of card based gameplay, but if it's a lot of fun, I may consider getting it.

Apparently it just came out today (or maybe last week) in the US.

Definitely want it, but after reading the above article, I can wait a little longer than I anticipated.

I think it was this game that I heard that there was some big glitch that makes your game freeze and makes it impossible to collect 100% things because of it.

I love SNK, but I've never been into the Card Fighters series. I probably wouldn't get it, but I'll definitely check out a demo and see if it's enjoyable to play, then I may consider it. Its nice to know SNK has gone third-party and still manages to release games even to this day. Hopefully SNK will fix the bugs in this game and it becomes successful!!

Is this different than the SNK vs Capcom Card Fighters games that came out for the Neo Geo Pocket?

Its sort of a massive update. It includes more recent characters (KoFXI characters for example) and updated graphics.

Speaking of massive updates, SNK is willing to replace the "broken" SNK Card Fighters DS for a "fixed" version.

I'm happy they are going to correct this, but I would like to know how to get my new copy? Like what is the process how will I recieve my new copy>

This game isn't fit to hold the original's jockstrap. The fact that I despise that phrase and used it anyways speaks volumes. It was definitely rushed.

Though it wasn't as good as the originals on the Neo Geo Pocket I did still enjoy playing it. The Phoenix Wright cards were more than worth it for me.

Got it all on eBay, Pocket Color and about 20 games, for around $50. Not to bad and it's a surprisingly fun little system. Wish it was a little smaller and had better battery life but still really cool.

SNK vs. Capcom Card Fighters 2 Expand Edition on the NGPC is a great follow up to the first CFC game. Of course it was all in japanese, so I had to wait till someone out there translated all the cards to actually play it. It's quite a gem for the NGPC. Cost me $150 around the time I purchased it.

I'm still debating if I'm gonna replace my SvC CFDS. I'm already in new game+ and reach the 9th floor with the glitch. Six weeks is just too long to wait to play a game that's been released for a month now.
