Space Battleship Yamato is the first one I ever saw, I used to watch the Star Blazers Dub with my brother whenever it was on.
There were also a number of Super robot shows that came on when SB was over.

I would say Pokemon, but that was the norm for everyone back in the day.
 But, really it was Tenchi Muyo! or Sailor Moon on Toonami.

I'm too ashamed to say Pokémon, for it was a fad back then and I was only into it for a short while. But it was Digimon what got me into anime, in spite of the lame Jeff Nimoy version.
Disney or Bandai, if you're reading this, GET DIGIMON ON DVD! I don't even care if it's released edited at this point. |
