What significance does a red moon have?
Just asking out of curiosity, but what meaning does a red moon have in Japanese tradition (like in a lunar eclipse?)

Are you talking about 暁 Akatsuki? If so, that doesn't translate to Red Moon (commonly mistaken though, even by Japanese). It just means Dawn

In Makai Senkai Disgaea the red moon is the time when souls can transfer from the netherworld to celestia (heaven). It might be related to an ancient Japanese story, but I have no idea honestly.

i did research and it has to do with many deaths of Japan after WW2. It's a tragic (negative) thing.

No what? That's what a 赤い月 is. It's something sad/tradgic/devistating, etc. It has a negative effect.
