first attempt at drawning anime ....

well, this is my first attempt ... i know it sucks pretty bad .... still ... >_>

my friend "humayun" who's a total gamer-freak .... inspired me to do this sketch about him .... he never gets girls , and the reason being he wears that "Gamer" sweat shirt everywhere he goes ...

ok its kinda dark because i dont have a scanner ... i took the pic with a camera, i drew it out freehand and added some scribbles with my graphic pen/tablet.

If that is your first attempt, you are better off than me. I have attempted to draw Anime like people before, and it's not easy. Of course I haven't taken an art class that teaches you how to correctly draw people so it's just sticks.

Looks decent enough. Time to invest in a scanner...or at least take a picture in decent lighting. LOL

BTW: There are girl gamers too. He just needs to look in the right place.

Wow, very dark but I think that your art style is very good even though your just a beginner! When I first started drawing anime I messed up on everything, especially the eyes. The ironic thing is now everyone tells me that the eyes are the best part of my drawing. *shrugs* But anyway, I really like it, your going to be GREAT in a couple of months or years. (depending on how often you draw)

For a first attempt... i can see you begin very very skilled in the future...

but i will say editing pictures after taking the photo is a bad idea... because i can tell you have used paint or some other un editable program to draw over your writing...

so you should always leave your picture as you scanned it or as your took the photo...

so keep it up ^^

9/10 for drawing... 5/10 for poor lighting... hehe =)
