Formatting hotkeys

I pressed Ctrl + I for italics (force of habit after years of using MS word), and lo and behold, the HTML formatting tags appeared. I'm not sure how long this has been around on AN, but I'd like to thank whoever added it! It's a real convenience!

Is there a hotkey for quotes?

Why are you apologising? I'm just saying that the hotkeys seem to be a Firefox thing. I don't know if they are a program feature, or if they are a vBulletin feature that only works with Firefox, but all I was trying to do is explain why it doesn't work for you.

I don't imagine that there would be a quote hot key, but then you'd be in a better position to find out than me ShadowCast.
