Can you wrap?

By this I mean can you wrap pressies up or not?

I'm terrible at it, they all look mangled, and ripped, and when I try to neaten it up it usually takes a large amount of selotape thus making my pressies tighter than the security at Fort Knocks. But 1 year I was able to. I don't know how, but suddenly I was able to wrap like a pro.

I done about %90 of my wrapping tonight plus a couple of other peoples and about %95 of them look horrible, lol.

But who cares about the look of it in the paper? As long as the gift inside is good/funny (we give each other joke presents as well as real ones)

Shyit yo, u no I can rap. Word.

I can do it alright, I suppose. It covers the gift enough so the receiver can be surprised.

Wrapped most of the presents already? I'm just now starting my shopping tonight... if I can formulate a list of whom I need to buy for and figure out what to get them...

Not at all. I usually use these gift bags, which are designed to look attractive without any work. Essentially they are just the same as the bags you get to carry your groceries home, but in various sizes, and made out of strong wrapping paper, with Christmas designs.

I've bought someone something for which no suitable bag exists, though... so I have to worry about wrapping this year.

I can rap.
Once upon a time not long ago
when people wore Adidas and lived life slow
when laws were stern and justice stood
and people thought hip hop was good

Oh wrap! sorry, yeah I could do that. I taught myself too

ADORABLE!! Everyone cares. It's like a Fact of Everything or whatever. In fact, if a gift isn't perfectly packaged, I'll throw it away...No Lie. Hmm, I wonder if that's why I'm always giftless... I'm so lying.

Well, I haven't wrapped anything in a good long while, but I remember being horrible at. I should probably wrap something to see if I've learned.

That reminds me of my Old Videogaming Strategy. If I couldn't play a game, I'd wait two years, and then I'd "magically" be at the right skill level... Crazy maybe, but it worked... Yeah, this is pathetic. I guess it's the development of motors skills/hand-eye coordination/critical thinking or whatnot. Mmm, that sounds plausible.

That's exactly what I thought when I read aloud the thread title, I thought DEMON might've spelled it wrong, but i guess not

But nah, I can't wrap. I use every chance I get to use those in store wrapping centers at like Best Buy and other places.

I expected those jokes, I was going to say not to bother but meh, it's X-MAS

Anywho.

My main problem is, when it comes to doing the edges, I always have tons of paper there, which then makes a wing that hangs out.

So basically, it looks like there's 2 V's pointing to each other (<> not ><) underneath the box it's self.

I put a personal touch on my wrapping.

Always plain, brown paper with a stupid/funny message written in black sharpie to the addressee. People love personalization and I love being cheap.

I use the same papper for everyone, the only personalising thing I do is "to...", lol.

And even then this is the first year i've done that.

My brother's the one who can come up with stupid jokes about things that happened to us earlier in the year, so I let him write out the cards.

Which is fine because I can't think of a more pointless thing than a card.

Birthday, get well, X-MAS. All pointless.

I'd rather pay more on a gift than get someone a card.

Its still a fifty-fifty. Sometimes I can wrap nicely, then the next it looks mangled with unneat edges or folds.

I wrap quite horribly, my origami skills do not transfer well. I prefer to play with the cheap crepe paper anyway, and stick a bow on it. Done.
