I’m here to invite you guys to check out my first black and white manga called “Battle Cry”. Originally an entry to Tokyopops RSOM. It didn’t win but it was picked up for a small anthology and now I’ve been asked by anther small company to work on a continuing five part series.

This comic is available in print but you can read an older/edited version for free…

Congrats on being picked to do the anthology and getting your work published.

Now about the picture, I think some parts are way too exaggerated and foreshortening is a bit problematic.

The lines are also too distastefully thick for my taste. Makes it look like it's was drawn with a sharpie marker.

Other than that it definitely looks decent.

Thanks I’m glade you liked it.

The comic is a year old and I myself hate to look back at most of the drawing in it.

The cover was rushed and it was pretty much an after thought. RSOM doesn't ask for covers. I was to lazy to make a real cover for it so I just took sketch I had lying around. and I inked it without fixing it up.

cool am making a manga too atm "oh jesus christ". Am just at 5 parts and am intending of making an anime of it. Well still its cool to see otehrs making mangas.
I've just checked your drawings, well not really my taste but there were things that i liked like the cover for example

. My story will take a long time to finish :d. Prolly a 100 serie anime thing so will be like more ten 20-30 parts. Are you going to work further on it anyway ?

thx and i hope you go furter in your side too and maybe make a cool remake of your first one and going on too. I bet there would be more crowd interested in your manga books:p. you also use deviant art. I see some nice stuff there

Ye working on mangas need time for drawing it already and ten more time to complete it in inkt or color(for having it perfectly):p Alot of people don't begin with such projects

Only grazy people do but were all grazy somewhere
