Besides deviantart.com what are some other good sites that people submit their art?

And I just was about the say deviantart *coughlookatmysigtoseemyworkcough*. You can try The Art Corner and Manga Revolution just started to do this I believe.

Mediaminer.org is another good place--although after a certain amount of file space (not...sure...how much they give you for free), they do charge you to add more pictures to your account. They don’t charge you for the ones you added while your account was free—but they charge you for MORE file space to add more pictures.

The audience is HUGE there though, and there are chances (contests, forum, etc.) to get a LOT of really thorough responses and critiques there.

Polykarbon Art Forum is another great place to submit artwork--but be warned: They don't hold back from their honest (and sometimes brutal) opinions. There is no 'flaming', but there are very in-depth and sometimes not-so-nice critiques given on those forums. It is an art forum, and so--people there are actually artists (both professional and novice) and can give great feedback.

Conceptart.org allows fanart as well as original stuff, but those guys are so ridiculously skilled I hardly even feel worthy of LURKING there. ;_;
