Only one and that being Dragon Drive. It's a very average series, but that's usually no reason for me to stop watching something. I plan to start it again one of these days and hopefully finish it up.

i loved the fruits basket anime too, especially the ending, it actually got me to buy the manga, which i heard is much much better...

quit watchin tenjou tenge, worst main characters ever...

also stopped watch gungrave, too boring, same with scryed

the biggest one i quit was inuyasha, i was faithful and obsessed with the series up until like ep50 and i realized it wouold never stop being filler, and the characters would never grow, so i quit...

Yeah, I couldn't continue Inuyasha as well. I stopped in the 60's.

Too many. I'll try to just list a few.

Yugioh and Pokemon- Both because they got far too boring and repetitive after a while
Inuyasha- Same as above, but the annoying fangirls played a part too
Inukami- I really liked it for a while, but it had so much filler and not nearly enough plot
Futakoi Alternative- Could no longer take the stupidity and annoying time jumping
Gundam Seed Destiny- I could write an essay on my reasons for dropping this one, but I'll spare you all
Gundam X- Started off well, but couldn't hold my interests
Mahoraba- I got really far into this, but I was gradually losing interest as more and more dull characters were introduced and one day just stopped
Bleach- Started to turn into DBZ. Too much fighting.

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. There's no way you could have judged whether or not the characters were normal people just by watching three minutes of the series, so what do you mean by "realistically normal characters?" Do you mean that you prefer a more cartoonish art style, and that realistic-looking artwork doesn't appeal to you? Or do you mean that you didn't like the fact that the characters looked and seemed too much like real, normal people?

Another series I couldn't continue watching is Yu-Gi-Oh!. My interest began to wane after Battle City. I just felt that the series was dragging on too much; too much time was spent with the characters giving unnecessarily elaborate explanations, and after 144 episodes, I was getting sick of it. I put the series on hiatus and never went back to it.

AWWW! I love that anime! The ending was a bit disappointing compared to the manga, but I'm still hoping for season 2

I could not get through:
Ghost in the Shell SAC - So boring. I tried...and failed.
Pokemon, Inuyasha, Yugi-Oh - Too long and lost intrest.
Reign the Conquerer - That outfit. Ugh.
Trinity Blood - Is there a storyline? I still don't know. The first few episodes say no.
Pilot Canidate - What was it about?! A whole lot of nothing...
Bobobobobobobobobwhatever - Nosehair? Seriously.

Not Zeta Thats one intense show, some complain that its too fast. I happen to find SEED & Wing the most borning, especially SEED even though its much better than Wing. Its just dialog & politics can drag on so long in SEED, and so many recaps & flashbacks seen all the time just adds to being boring.
I'll give Zeta a try someday . SEED was a bit boring sometimes but the story is what keep me going. It's really great episode 25 up though.

Inuyasha
Deathnote

Probably some others but those are the two recent ones I can think of. Deathnote might be good but the first episode turned me off a little bit, and I didn't find the need to download episode number 2.

A few I couldn't manage to get through

Piano - This anime should be prescribed as a sleep aid. I only made it to episode 4 and had to drop it due to sheer boredom. I like slice-of-life anime but Piano was far too mundane for me to watch.

Jing: King of Bandits - My biggest gripe with this series was how repetative everything was. Every locale would be the same thing. Show up looking for something to steal, run into the prerequisite Jing girl along the way, and shoot off a couple of his signature Kir Royale moves (using the same tired animation every time).

Final Fantasy Unlimited - I honestly tried to stomach this series to the point of making it as far as episode 8 which, when all was said and done, was 8 episodes too many. It was just too repetative with too many annoying characters.

And a few others I'll just list: Angel Tales, Nanaka 6/17, and Kokoro Library.

Yes, the first episode is basically all action with no real explanation, but once you get past it, that ****ty anime will be replaced with a true gangster drama masterpiece. Don't just take my word for it:
