Witch Hunter Robin: I couldn't even get past the first episode due to extreme boredom. It just felt like an extremely dull Hellsing.

Samurai Champloo: It had an interesting first episode, but from what I heard it went downhill after that, so I stopped watching.

And of course, anything I watched fansubbed, such as Full Metal Panic TSR, Ouran, Haruhi, etc. The only difference is that I may give them another chance once they're released in the States.

X the movie. I watched it for 17 minutes before I saved myself (and several innocent people who would have died had I continued) by turning it off and returning it to the rental store.

Fushigi Yugi. I got to about episode 15 before I finally stopped wanting to push knives into my gut to ease my suffering and realized turning it off was a better solution.

Fruits Basket. Same as Fushigi Yugi but only made it to about episode 6. I actually restarted the show almost a year later because a friend begged it of me but the results were the same.

Rurouni Kenshin. Got about 5 episodes in before the taste of vomit in my mouth became unbearable. Never tried rewatching it though my roommate owns it and it sits about 16 inches from the TV.

Gundam Wing. The frustration of 6 people that cannot quite kill each other and who all desperately want to die just got too silly for words. Quit after about 40 episodes, a good run but ultimately unsuccessful.

Gundam 0083. Not saying this was a bad show, just got tired of it. Yes I know it's only 13 episodes. Just couldn't seem to push through it all. Not my kind of show I guess.

Scryed. I've seen the first 2 episodes about 4 times. Just have no interest in it and can't gather the interest.

Maburaho. I've gotten about halfway from my friend's collection. Don't know how far I can get now that the main character's a ghost, he only has the first few dvds anyway so it's a moot question.

Cardcaptor Sakura. I'd sell my roommate's kidneys to finish this show but a lack of funds has kept me from watching more then the first 12 or so episodes and a few seen on TV. Strangely enough I own a couple of the artbooks and both bilingual and English sets of the manga. Had I used the money from those on DVDs I'd probably have finished the show.

Kokoro Library. I promised a friend that I'd watch the show with her. After 2 years I still haven't finished it and my friend seems uninterested to continue. The promise holds anyway. I guess I'm crazy.

Air. Same as Kokoro Library but with a different friend. She however has attempted suicide twice in the last year (silly girl) and I keep putting off wanting to continue Air since it's a fairly sad show.

Hahaha, sounds like you had the same experiences as me (X and Rurouni Kenshin).

I tried to watch Rurouni Kenshin on 2 seperate occassions and just couldnt get into it. Luckily, 2 weeks ago, I decided to try it again because I needed something to watch.

Once you get to Episode 27 (or 26 whenever Shishio enters the story) that is when it gets really really good and then you start to understand why so many people like it.

If you ever get to watch it again, know that it will eventually get better.

But at the begining, I couldnt get into the whole "Samurai not killing" thing and some of the characters, but eventually it gets really good.

None. However, I should stop to watch Final Fantasy: Unlimited but I decide to watch it since I bought it anyway.

Reign: The Conqueror - Made my eyes bleed.
ZOE: i, delores - Okay series, I just lost interest
Gundam somethingorother - Lost interest about the third time I fell asleep. Don't ask me whch one. Probably more than one.

...I try to finish most titles, but there may be a few more in there. Truthfully, those'd be the titled I'd be most apt to forget about.

Aww god, the list is to long. I'll list the major offenders.

Scryed - I seen the first five episode and bits and pieces on AS and I thought it was one of the most stupidest things I've ever seen, with a dumb main character to boot.

Blood + I'm really trying to like this show, but It's so boring it's hard to. I'll try some more episode before I put it off.

Even though I finished this one, I'll add Gantz. My god it was painful to finished it but the only reason I continued with it was to compare it with the manga and I ain't paying $6.95 for The Anime network not to watch anime.

This Ugly and Beautiful world - Great first episode...until about 15 Min's. in, really boring, with uninteresting characters. Basically every anime stereotype was present and accounted for in this anime.

UFO ULTRAMAIDEN VALKYRIE - FIRST EPISODE WAS ENOUGH. that's all.

Edit: A few Gundam titles other than Gundam SEED and G Gundam, Gundam 0083 to a degree, most of them are are really boring...

Gundam Wing. It just got so boring I couldn't stand it anymore. I was halfway through it when I quit and sold off the dvds.

Angelic Layer. It's not a bad show, but it can't hold my interest for long. I will finish it someday when I have nothing else to do.

Oh, I should add Honey and Clover. Got through Honey and Clover but after only 2 episodes for the sake of my sanity I quit Honey and Clover 2. I swear this was written by my suicidal friend (see my above post) who is of the opinion that love is an impossible dream and we're all doomed to a sad and lonely life.

Not Zeta Thats one intense show, some complain that its too fast. I happen to find SEED & Wing the most borning, especially SEED even though its much better than Wing. Its just dialog & politics can drag on so long in SEED, and so many recaps & flashbacks seen all the time just adds to being boring.

Burst Angel: Bland through-and-through. I stopped at episode 5.

Gundam Wing: I couldn't get past episode 20. The story was rather slow, tedious, and boring in my opinion. I may re-watch it at some point in the future, though.

One Piece: The outdated animation and somewhat unappealing story threw me off early in the series. I’d be willing to give this another try, and I’m sure I will once I get through my current batch of anime.

Sailor Moon: Predictable and uninteresting character development marked with clichés that just didn’t cater to my taste.

That’s all I can think of at the moment.

Agreed. The first time I watched Rurouni Kenshin, I managed to get up to episode 9 before putting it down in major disappointment. It wasn’t until around a year later that a friend of mine reintroduced me to the series with the Kyoto/Shishio arc. I really didn’t want to start watching it again, but I was very impressed, to say the least, and in a short amount of time. And now it’s one of my all time favorites. Apparently, the same was true with most of the RuroKen fans I know.

Gundam Wing - My interest in the series was gone after five episodes and two manga, and now I'm thinking of selling my DVD. Duo Maxwell was the only thing I liked about Wing, but one character is not enough to persuade me to waste my money. (The movie wasn't so bad, though.)

Hellsing - Four episodes was all it took for me to decide that Hellsing was not my type of anime, and that I should leave all the blood and vampires to my "dark, mysterious, and bloody"-loving friend. Another DVD I'm thinking of selling, or giving away.

Gundam SEED - It managed to keep my interest through the first four episodes, but then I turned my attention to other series, and just never went back to SEED.

.hack//SIGN - Another case where it held my interest for awhile (ten episodes), but then I started getting into other series, and sort of lost interest in .hack//SIGN. I don't know if I'll ever go back to it, although there's a chance I'll decide to just finish it, since I was already almost halfway through it.

I think you're the first person I have ever come across who complained about an anime being too realistic. The realism is one of the things I love about Otogi Zoshi.

Shuffle - Terrible series. It had such potential but didn't come through. I couldn't keep watching.
Disgaea - ...Blah. Big letdown.
Card Captor Sakura - Too long. I was entertained until about episode 30, then stopped.
