ok, this has been bugging the heck outta me. First in the origional trailer, the 5 min one. What is the deal with all those people being impaled? and second, why did dark horse have to give anderson that dialect??

I figure Anderson had some strange dialect in the original Japanese version as well, although I wish they didn't take it to such an extreme. It can be a real pain to figure out what he's saying.

I'll get back to you on the trailer.

Well, considering Anderson is IRISH the dialect makes sense, and much improves the quality of his character than if they just left it in normal english.

A dialect is fine, but an one in which I could easily understand what he is saying would be much better. Notice that I didn't say "I wish he spoke normal english", I said... well, you can re-read it right above your post.

Yeah, and I was simply saying that I think it's perfectly fine that it's hard to read and understand, because that accent can be that hard to understand. I really see no problem with it at all, but that's just me I suppose.

Because Alucard was originally known as Vlad Teppes Dracula, aka Vlad the Impaler.

I don't see why anyone has trouble reading Anderson's dialect. It's not that bad and it gives depth to the character.
