Kimagure Orange Road Disc Errors?

Hey everyone,

Is there anyone who has bought the-now-OOP Kimagure Orange Road TV series and has had problems with Disc 3 not functioning? I've tried it on my home player and received a "Cannot read disc" message; so I cleaned the laser and tried the disc in my computer and WMP encounters an error right after the AnimEigo credits finish.

I've been searching and I cannot see if there is a Glitched Disc warning/announcement for the series outside of the initial pressings. Guess I'll have to try to contact AnimEigo sometime this week.

I just put in mine and everything seems to be in working order. So I guess it's not a release-wide thing.

Bah, I had my message all written out and my dumb internet gives out..

Anyways, basically I just checked my disc 3 of KoR and it worked fine. Must be something wrong with your DVD. Check for scratches (deep ones) and that may be the cause. The program I use for my dvds are Power DVD. I once had an issue where a disc would read some error message similar and the only way it worked was through windows media player skipping and backing up manually through the chapters. Your best bet is animeigo issueing you a replacement.

Yeah, I made sure for no scratches and the like. I literally took the shrink wrap off of the disc probably twenty minutes before I posted, so it must be an individual disc deal.

That's not cool. Mine is also in working order as was every other volume. I'm sure AnimEigo would be more then willing to replace the defective disc.
