Does Tenjou Tenge have nudity?

I ask because im looking for a anime that has a pretty all right story, cool looking characters and hot anime chicks.

No, not in the anime, but if you read the uneditted scanlations of the manga, there is some nudity/sex. The localized versions are heavily editted though so don't bother with them.

Actually the R2 disks does have some in them. What was released in the US was a bastardization of Oh! Great's Manga and the anime . . . . That's why I didn't buy either . . .

THe R1's are edittied?!?!?!?!?! I figured the US cimpanie didnt do that unless it was shown on TV. THere is also a ot of battles and blood editted out of the manga

I don't recall any actual nudity in the TenTen anime, but its been a while since I watched it and I never watched the OVAs. But I can tell you that the R1 DVDs are NOT edited. The anime was toned down from the manga to begin with. This is Geneon we are talking about here.

The manga released by CMX is heavily edited though.

Nudity could have only existed on the R2 DVD's if they were added later. The wonders of the Digital Animation age allow the animators to edit entire scenes to include more graphic nudity. The same thing happened with Tenchi Muyo GXP for instance; nipple nudity was edited out of the *japanese* television broadcast, but was added in for the R2 DVD's. Whether or not our R1's have that nudity depends on whether or not the company that owns the rights to the series sold us the particular copy with the added content.

R1 DVDs usually have the DVD version of the shows. Speed Grapher and Gantz were edited for TV but uncut on DVD, and in both cases we got the uncut version. Since I saw the fansubbed version, I suppose it is possible that nudity was added for the DVD release but if that was the case, I'm sure it would be the same in the Geneon release.
