I'm not picking it up until theres's more then five titles that can actually utilize it. And it's way overpriced, honestly.

Nah, I got to work on a new GPU card first. Let alone a computer with a PCI-e motherboard.

Toms hardware is the worst site you can visit.
But your right at the start the PPU lowered frames about 2 to 3 fps but that was with an old build of the Ageia PPU Physx Engine. Now that they updated it (Several times now) it proves to be faster for the same effects. The issue is that for the price the speed and graphical improvement is minimum. On the other hand with the new UT engine coming out with Physx support it may become mainstream and with a list of 80 planned games it definetly isnt under supported. I am going to wait but it doesnt really look awsome. Atop of that with Quad core CPUs coming soon will our CPU usage be so drained? I dunno I would love to buy one at a cheaper price.

I'll probably get it when (or if) it begins to really take off.

Lets see if Havok can pull themselves together and get true physics in their own (hopefully cheaper than now) implimantation. I just dont see Ageia with the muscle to combat ATi, Nvidia and Havok.

I want to see what Crysis looks like on a PhysX card. Then, I'll decide...

Both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 support the AGEIA PhysX engine through software using the NovodeX Physics SDK. To me, it would make sense that with cross-platform compatibility in mind, many games being developed for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 (or any combination thereof) would also support AGEIA PhysX engine.

The Issue is that while they do support it, that may simply be due to the fact that th engine is free. While it may be required for certain games Devs will take less of a chance with PC games and factor the majority of their time on the lowest hardware settings. Couple that with most Enthusiasts being upset over the high price of the PPU and its possible the card will quickly die.
