what would happen if a guy took midol?

Or if a girl took viagra. This is really random, but I was just a bit curious. My cousin's got a really bad migraine today my cabinets are fresh out of any kind of pain reliever. So.... I went to my mother's personal cabinet because I could've sworn I saw some Excedrin in there. I almost grabbed the Midol, but stopped myself.
So what would've happened if he'd taken it? Nothing, probably. Just wanted to know if something *would've* happened.

That's how people go through sex changes I believe. Viagra is full of testosterone as Midol is full of estrogen. The consumption of these by the opposite sex could result in higher/lower voice, the growing of breasts, growth of hair in places it's not supposed to be, etc.

Egggh... I'd rather if you guys said what was the active component of these drugs. I'm not being taught to memorize the american names for drugs.. nor the mexican ones either. They assume you'll just start picking the names up as you go I guess. Or use generics.

Viagra was originally made for arterial hypertension, they discovered it made men erect as a sort of freak "accident"/really unexpected adverse effect. At most a woman's blood pressure could temporairly drop a bit, but if her blood pressure was normal and she wasn't hypoglycemic when she took it, it probably wouldn't have any big effects on her. Normal blood vessels don't expand that much when exposed to NO but hypertensive vessels do.

I have no idea what this Midol drug is cuse that's the commercial name, not it's chemical component name.

It's a pain killer. The active ingredient is acetaminophen followed by caffeine and a diuretic. So men, be careful of washing down Tylenol with Coke. Might put boobs on your chest.

Midol is a drug that's advertised to relieve the various painful effects of PMS (headache, bloating, cramps). The only reason I know this is because I've seen the commercial too many damn times. Anyhow, I hope this gives you something to go off of.

When I read that Viagra is full of testosterone, that struck me as immediately erroneous. I don't think there's any testosterone in Viagra. It's a drug to increase blood flow, and is particularly effective in specific regions, as SailorN said. My guess would be that if a woman took viagra, she'd get some kind of mild (or perhaps unnoticable) euphoria, as general blood flow may improve, and therefore she'd be getting more oxygen...but what the hell do I know?

Okay, so Midol is mostly a mix of acetaminophen, caffeine and some diuretic. Acetaminophen isn't a steroid, it's a COX2 inhibitor so it's adverse effects are mostly stomach discomfort and possibly ulcers. There aren't a lot of Diuretics that are steroid compounds. I can personally think of Spirolactone (I hope I typed it right in english). Vaguely remembering classes, Spirolactone is for arterial hypertension. Yes, it can cause your boobs to grow.

I think if a man takes this once, they won't get the Akane Tendo on testosterone effect immediately. However if he took large dosages of it in a short peroid of time, I wouldn't be surprised a nice pair of jugs start appearing on his chest.

The diuretic is Pyrilamine Maleate. And Midol won't do anything. It's just a pain killer with a little something to help with bloating.
