This is made of collossal quantities of WIN! If Banpresto can produce OG(PS2) to the same sort of quality standards as we've come to expect from Alpha 3 and MX, then this will be well worth placing an order for.

Damn, I can't get enough of SRX, and this has the potential to be the shiniest outing for the SRX team, ever. I wake up, somewhat later, and I also SQUEEEE!

I'm tempted to run round the comp labs going "squee!!!" like I did when I first saw Alpha 3. XD

Looks very nice, I'll have to look into this after I've played the OG games for the GBA. I've just started playing SRW games recently, and I'm enjoying them greatly even if I don't always understand whats going on.

You are using Nitake92's excellent story guides? There are story guides either complete or in progress for almost every SRW game now. Nitake did OG, and is in the process of doing OG2 and J. MNeidengard did Alpha 1,G,2 and 3, as well as MX and Impact. Kern is in the process of doing Masou Kishin. Gideon Zhi (and his group, AGTP) did the translation patch for 3, and is currently working on a whole bunch of other patches. There are story guides for the other GBA games, but I have to admit that I forget the names of the good people who wrote some of those guides.

Thus far I've only played a little of the orginal game, the translated version of 3, and I'm currently playing SRWJ for the GBA (I've also watched all of SRW: OG The Animation). If there is a story guide to that, I haven't seen it yet, I'd like to have one though, since there is an insane amount of talking going on (At least compared to every other Strategy/Tactics-type RPG I've played). I'm only on mission 8 in SRWJ and I've forgotten exactly how far I got in 3. If someone could post or PM me a link to those, it would be greatly appreciated.

Nitake92 is currently writing such a guide at SRWG forum, but he has only written as far as stage 22. The link to his thread is here, but you would need to register before you will be able to see it.

I hope that will be of some use to you.

Wodin vs Zengar! The shiny version!

Zengar: Yes. If I were him... if I were Kyosuke Nanbu, I would say this.
Zengar: I made a bet on tough odds.
Wodan: ....!!
Zengar: Now, come, Wodan! This shall be our final duel!!

High res scans are nice.

This game already looks superior to Alpha 3 and MX. Definitely superior to MX, at least.

Edit: I totally forgot one of the most important implications of this: PS2 Cybuster.

Remake of the OG games for the Ps2 > Alpha 3? I don't think so, CBG.

Btw Super Robot Wars 1 sucks stop playing it and play 2G, or 3, or 4 if you want to play some classics.
