I haven't seen it, but Elfen Lied is supposed to be one of the most violent gorefests in a long time.

Personally, I'd go with Berserk.

If you want the most pointless violent anime with hacked up body parts flying everywhere and a very disturbing scene with a corpse watch...

NINJA RESSURECTION

This should satisfy any need for blood. If you have the cahonnes to watch episode 2 after 1 I give you props.

Wow, I can't believe I forgot Elfen Lied! I knew there was something I forgot. That is maybe the most violent anime I'v seen. I'm not really into ultra violent anime but I loved Elfen Lied.

Hmm... and speaking of Inuyasha, there was this one where he like went on a killing spree and turned into a demon. That was full fledged gore if I've ever seen it (and I have, trust me )

Everyone said basily what I was going to say. Ninja Ressurection is violent, but, this movie really sucks. Bad. Evangelion gets very violent as well, especialy in the movie. Manga is generally more violent....
