Paul Champagne dvd box designs

Ok, here is a preview of what I have going for a Rurouni Kenshin OVA box.

I designed this to hold 5 dvd's:
1. Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X) OVA 1 pt 1 DVD (Trust)
2. Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X) OVA 1 pt 2 DVD (Betrayal)
3. Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X) OVA 1 Director's Cut DVD
4. Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X) OVA 2 DVD (Reflection)
5. Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X) Motion Picture DVD

You might notice that I did NOT use the "Samurai X" logo on it... well, yeah, this is Rurouni Kenshin, NOT "Samurai X" (shudders at the name :scared

. I will NOT make a variant with it either

You can consider this a design for the "core" RK fan (that uses the alternate DVD covers

)

I have NOT sent Paul the final version yet, I'd like some feedback from you all

I'll cross post this in the RK forum

Oooo that RK OAV/Movie box is awesome ^o^ I think this one will be my favorite design from you, and I'l glad you made it to hold 5 dvds (including the director's cut of T and B

I really like it the Kenshin ova/movie box. I really hadn't intended to order anymore boxes this year, but I guess I was wrong. I just got a big box order from Paul, but this is so good it would drive me nuts not getting it. I am glad the samarai x logo isn't on the box that way it fits well next to the other Kenshin boxes.

I've been working on a KOR TV box as per someone's request, so here's a preview of it. It's sized to hold all 12 DVD's. Not much to do with the design, as all of the artwork is sketched/painted and NOT easy to work with. Regardless, this is the box as requested

I think you should consider making a 4 disc version. I think there are a lot of RK fans out there that already owned the Tsuiokuhen OVA and didn't see it worth while buying the directors cut =\

There are WAY too many "considerations" for this particular RK box, so it's best to NOT. Perhaps they can put in the "Techniques Special" dvd when that comes out

Your KOR TV box is so beautiful that it makes me what to check out the series. I hadn't really been interested in it, but maybe I need to take a second look.
