MYTHICON - Live the Legend
August 23 - 25, 2013

MYTHICON officially announces its inaugural convention will take place on the weekend of August 23-25, 2013, at the Doubletree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld in Orlando.

Mythicon is a 3-day anime, video game, and comic book convention. Our aim is to provide attendees with a unique and enthralling con experience. With a number of stage shows taking place during the event, Mythicon will be holding open casting tryouts in the greater Orlando area. In addition to our main and special events, Mythicon's programming will include panels with industry guests as well as fan panels, cosplay and costume events/contests, an AMV contest, and DJ-programmed dances/raves. Additional new programming will be announced as preparations move forward in bringing the legend to life at Mythicon.

Mythicon is slowly arriving. With only 9 months left until the first year of Mythicon, we wish to extend and share what we have in store for everyone. This past Shadocon, we have announced our first round of guests. Mythicon is happy to have DJ Shadowfax and Ashley Clark to help us out and lend us their knowledge to make it all happen. Also coming to Mythicon we have an upcoming voice actress, Marianne Miller. Our next guest is known throughout the internet thanks to his abridged series. Mythicon is happy to welcome Martin Billany a.k.a LittleKuriboh. Finally, returning to Florida since his last appearance in 2008, we are excited to welcome Liam O’Brien to Mythicon. We have more guests to come, so keep updated via our Facebook.

Mythicon will be located at the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at Seaworld for the first year. Rooms are available now at a special rate of $99 per room night. Be sure to book your room early before they are all gone. You don’t want to miss out any of the fun moving from location to location, do you? Also, this special rate will be available for use from August 17th – September 1st, so feel free to book your room and arriver early or stay after the convention to visit many of the Orlando attractions. Tickets are now available beginning with a limited time low rate of $30 for a Weekend Pass. Though why wait in line, when you can get early access to rooms and priority seating with a VIP pass, also available for purchase at a rate of $100.

We will also be selling a Premium ticket named the Mythic Pass. This pass will be on sale for $150 and will act as not only a VIP Pass, but will allow you to access our Special Thursday Dinner Theater Event. It will also include a 3-course meal. It won't end there, by buying this pass, you will also get to sit and eat dinner with your choice of the guest. Seating will be on a first come, first serve basis. There will also be a special autograph session after the Dinner Theater event. Martin Billany, Marianne Miller and Liam O'Brien will all be attending this event, so be one of the few to grab the Mythic Pass and have an even greater time at Mythicon.
