Howls Moving Castle and Mononoke tied. I liked Mononoke's story more, but Howl's was so vibrant and crisp on the animation and the colors. Almost blew out my tv set.
Encore has been playing these movies at all halfazzed hours of the week. Ponyo was on last night, from 4am to about 6am, and I watched the first 30 minutes but quit because I would feel it after waking up on only 6 hours sleep. |

Howl's Moving Castle for me. But Spirited Away comes so close, I wish they'd adapt more books into anime.
