Hey guys, I'm a hip-hop artist (NOT a rapper, I try to make songs with real substance) that just released a complete hip-hop album based on my experiences growing up watching Gundam Wing. I love when people try to validate their style of music by putting down another style or genre.

Rap can have substance, just like any other genre/style of music out there. I'm sure there's plenty of "hip hop" out there that has no substance just like any other genre. The key is to put some time and sweat into it, regardless of what you do.
