I just had a thought: how does anyone think Kenpachi will fare against these Nazis? Given, as you know, his "BANKAI IS FOR SISSIES" vibe and all.

Given that Kubo cant write he probably forgot about him then go "Oh wait, I have Kenpachi!" but then have him trip over a tile or something stupid so he can't fight.

No Shinigami captain is forgotten about. If you aren't seeing them now its not because they are forgotten, it's because it's not their turn yet in the broken bracket. To be fair, the broken bracket is extremely confusing and even Bleach characters have trouble interpreting it. Right now we are in round one. There are good guys and bad guy waiting to fight the winners of round one, round two, etc. It's just like Hueco Mundo.

HM Broken Bracket Round 1
* Ichigo fights Grimmjaw. Ichigo wins.

HM Broken Bracket Round 2
* Nnoitira is confused by the broken bracket and thinks that since Ichigo won, he is his round 2 opponent. Kenpachi was able to properly read the bracket and tells Nnoitira that he is the actual opponent. Kenpachi wins.

*Ichigo fights Ulquiorra. Ichigo wins.

HM Broken Bracket Round 3
* In the broken bracket, Ichigo's victory actually takes him to a whole 'nother torunament: the FKT Bracket.

*Kenpachi actually advances to the legitimate HM Round 3, but it's a special three-way battle between him, Yammy, and Byakuya, all of whom have worked their way up through multiple brackets to reach this spot.

So really, nobody is forgotten when it comes to combat, they just haven't gotten their entry yet. Their entry is coming though, you can believe that. Kubo is nonsense, but he still has the good sense to not have all like 20 or 30 fights happening at once. They are spaced out into rounds. HM and FKT showed us that every named character in the series will have 4-12 chapters dedicated to their round, whether you like it or not. They are not forgotten.

This Quincy Arc is still in Round 1 and there's a good chance that some people aren't fighting the right opponent yet and will be interrupted by someone else who's the real opponent.

Plus, Kenpachi is popular. Kubo forgetting him is like the Naruto writer forgetting that Sasuke exists. It's just not gonna happen.

Kenpachi should have an advantage because he doesn't rely on bankai.

If they steal all of the bankais, then the reveal will be cheap if the characters themselves don't use it.
