Yes indeed. Well, this was bound to happen sooner or later. Can't say I'm at all surprised, given this country's deep love affair with lawsuits.

If he had such a problem with the violence in the movie, why did he go see it?

So we're assuming he couldn't of just walked via the front door with a gym bag full of guns? Because I've gone into a cinema before with a rucksack big enough to carry quite a few guns and I wasn't stopped and searched. The fire escape arguement doesn't hold much water with me.

Personally I wouldn't want to gain from this, if I sued and won and the payout was massive I couldn't enjoy the money knowing it came from something so terrible.
