By the hand of Lugh, I'm exhausted. I slept for an hour and a half last night. I don't know how those big, sexy, soldier men like Saps could operate operationally like operators for days with little sleep. Maybe getting shot at helps, I don't know.


I was with my Aunt today bringing a shipping pallet to my pa's. She tied it up in the back of her CRV with nylon rope. The hunchback door was open a little but tied down. It was the only way the cargo would fit. She said she knew how to do it. I knew that nylon rope isn't forgiving for badly laid knots but kept my mouth shut. On the highway I heard her gasp and I looked back to see the hunchback door open all the way. I told her to pull over and we fixed it. A knot came undone. I tied it better and held on to the rope end for the rest of the drive. My Aunt was shaking. That made her pray to gods she didn't even believe in.

That bastard driving behind us backed off like mother****er when that back door jumped open.

It is 10PM. The sun has set. The moon is out, and while it's full, it's not bright (that I can tell).

So someone explain to me why the dude down the street thinks 10 at night is the best time to mow. He doesn't have any lights on his mower (it's a push mower), or flood lights lighting his yard. He can't see... so why is he mowing?
