O releases Choujirou's bankai.... wait... a VC has bankai!!?!?!?!?!? No way! .... Anyway.

This brings back fond memories for Yama-jii... And it was Choujirou who partially gave him the scar on his head.

Dear Shuuhei... is that a new choker? *drools*

Yama-jii turns O to ashes.... I'm not calling this defeat... not yet. You know how Kubo is.

This would have been a decent chapter...if Choujirou had been a real character. As is, it's meandering and lame.

Yeah, what's the point of a flashback now of remembering Sasikibe (sp?) and having some villain fodder show off his bankai?

The point was that Yama-jii knew the bankai wasn't as strong as it should have been. He knew the power level of his VC's bankai... and this wasn't it.

.... Which makes me wonder if all the stolen bankais will be at a less power than they should be... and if that's the "advantage" the shinigami have over the enemy.

Let's not forget that Kubo just decided on what Choujirou's bankai was as he was working on this chapter, so there was no way he could have given us this type of back story earlier

If that's how he's going to reveal the new bankais, that'll be so anti-climatic but expected coming from Bleach.

So his Bankai was a knock off wack version of Storm from X-Men. Meh. Chapter was ok, but meh. Choji was a bit too much of a Captain Commander d**krider imo. It was funny to see the Vandy get skeleton soul burn sliced though. He looked like Susanoo from Naruto and the glowing skeleton rich dude in Batman Beyond.

Well he was lame and pointless, so I wouldn't expect his bankai to be any different.
