Well, I think this is exciting!! I've always enjoyed space exploration and this new feat is something I'm really interested about. I can't wait to see more hi-res pictures of Mars and what mysteries Curiosity will unsolve for us Earthlings over the next two years!!

I watched a nat geo documentary about this thing and the guys that made it, pretty fascinating especially the landing system, it actually had a little crane claw thingy with rocket thrusters that floated in the air and lowered the rover the ground, then blasted off

Was like something out of a scifi movie (but sci real?).
