None of those things keep him from pleading "not guilty, by reason of insanity" in Colorado. He can plead anything he wants. In Colorado, it's up to the prosecution to prove (beyond reasonable doubt) that the defendant wasn't insane.

My first thought about the news story when I was told about it was, "Wow, this guy either really loved the movie or really hated it."

I imagined it as something along the lines of either

"THIS MOVIE IS ****ING AWFUL *gunfire*"

or

"THIS MOVIE IS ****ING AWESOME *gunfire*"

I have personally reacted in both of these manners to various movies. And then I went to Paprika and did them both at once.
