Are we talking about the Japanese being the master race? Personally I think Europe (not eastern) especially the Scandinavian countries is better in quality of living compared to USA. I would even look to the Amanda Knox trial in Italy. I mean if she was convicted here in America for murder she would get life or death. In Italy it was only 10 to 15 years. Also they get to leave prison and they have a curfew. I don't think Japan is that much better than America. Housing is extremely expensive like America. Our housing crisis put an end to affordable housing. Most japanese live in closet sized apartments that are still outrageously expensive. They have a very comformative society still stuck in the old ways of honor. They push their kids over the edge to better themselves in education to a point that if they fail to the standards their parents set for them some will commit suicide to save face. Japan is just as harsh as America in some aspects. Than again this mind set is common in most Asian countries. I'd rather live in Europe or maybe even Canada.

Heavens no. Don't be absurd. The OP did not ask, "Do you think Japanese culture is superior to American Culture?" The OP is just asking for which aspects we think are better. I think being able to board a train in Japan and not have some idiot latching onto me and insisting on pursuing a conversation consisting of some inane/psychotic banter is heavenly. So that's one way Japan is better. And I can walk around downtown in Japanese big cities and not have people begging money off of me, pretending to be destitute but in reality they're just drug addicts or alcoholics. People in Japan leave me the heck alone, so that's pretty "superior" if you ask me.

Why is it so tabooo for Amercian anime comanpies to say on sale, it;s alwayls avaiable or this in stores trend, anime is not mainstream like the latest Justin biber album or the latest EA game, I hate seeing anime being treated like bublegum pop
and why does everyone have to say becomes avaible, intesead of comming out, is everyone here afraid of sounding liking an amatur, or as natural Amercns you hate the word release

Cultures aren't superior to others. This notion is a breeding ground for trouble

This has already been discussed. Please note that the topic is not "Do you think Japanese culture is superior to American culture?"

I will will not go into great detail, but one thing Japan (& a lot of other countries) has on us is a deep history & folklore. The United States is a young county, only 236 years old, where as Japan goes back much further, centuries back, legend states it was founded in 660 BC, but that's just legend, either way, loots of history.
