The original game is one of the best-written shooters there is. You're in for a treat. For some retarded reason I sold my copy and I've been trying to get a new one ever since.

I rented the Darkness II and played through the entire thing (PS3). It's quite good.

Saints Row the Third is $17 on Steam right now.

It is THE best sandbox game I've ever played, and that is an incredibly good price. You can also get all 3 of the DLC campaign packs together for $6.79, which is a good deal. The DLC is really short (to be honest not worth the $20 I paid, but definitely worth the $6.79)

It's 6 or 7 gigs if I remember, so maybe a couple hours depending on your connection.

Either they didn't ship very many copies of Lollipop Chainsaw, or it's selling decently well.

On my lunch break today, I went to Target and Best Buy just for kicks, and both of them were sold out of Lollipop Chainsaw, on both PS3 and 360. Neither one of them had it on sale, either. If I had found the game for $40 I would have bought it.

fake edit: Actually, it looks like Toys R Us has the game for $45, $15 off, and it's also included in some 360 sale going on right now where you can buy 1 360 game and get one 40% off.

http://www.toysrus.com/promo/index.jsp?promoId=13089565

Pretty sweet deal. I may have to swing by Toys R Them on my way home, assuming they're not sold out already.

I would strongly suggest getting the whole pack -- you save a few bucks, enough to make Invisible War basically free, and hey, even if it's bad, free is free. I haven't played Invisible War so I don't know how bad it can be, but people don't seem to like it much at all.

That said, the original Deus Ex, while fiddly and old, is an exceptional game and possibly one of the greatest games ever made. I would strongly suggest picking it up and playing it too.

If you own a Kinect and are thinking "I don't have many games for it, but hardly any of the ones out there are worth paying actual money for"... you can get "Haunt" for free as a limited time offer.

Free Kinect game. I'm not sure I'm interested since it sounds like I need some annoying new thing on my X360 dashboard, which is already ridiculously awful.

It seems Kinect Central is a US-only thing, so you'll be able to get Haunt for free on your US account but I don't even see it.

Sounds like a QTE type game. Like a Sega Mega CD game with more wiggle.

No wonder no-one would pay for it.
