Girls come in with bikini tops and jelly rolls and their butts hanging free.

Well, considering how they butcher the artwork in the anime, I don't think its too difficult. Hmp, they might try at another one, or not. Not sure. Definitively maybe.

Her art style was specifically intended by her to be difficult to animate. She did it that way on purpose. That's why the art

is different.

I know. It makes me sad to see anime based off her manga (which doesn't seem to ever match the original story, btw) and then her artbook with such wonderful drawings. :C

Artbooks are always prettier than what you see in an anime. The artist can spend much more time getting each image just so. It's just especially noticeable with Tanamura because of her distinctive style. Even with Bleach, which has a rather spartan style, there is a big difference between the quality of drawing in the art book and the anime.

How often do you see styles influenced by Tamemura on da? I see it now and then but not often. tagl's style seems obviously influenced by Tanemura but I don't see a lot like that.
