So Izanami is the Uchiha version of a DVR. Not to be a jerk but Kurama did the same thing to Older Toguro in YuYu Hakusho.

I wouldn't mind this being the end of the battle, but it'd be nice to see Kabuto break free and continue to wreck ****.

It's Kabuto's mind that's trapped in the loop, so now they can probably just use genjutsu to control him.

I hope this marks the end of the entire Orochimaru faction. He's been a persistent little snot throughout the entire series and now it's time to let it go. Seriously. Even though it was a completey ***-pull jutsu from Itachi, I hope they let that part of the story go.
