I usually buy manga from amazon.com, Barnes and Noble, or my local comic shop. Barnes and Noble has a nice selection of American comics too, as well as manga.

As far as retail locations, definitely Barnes n Noble, they have a pretty decent collection of manga for sale. I usually have found more manga series there than any other book store. I would also recommend Borders and Books-A-million for your manga collection needs.

I think the best place to shop would be AnimeNation. They have since closed their retail operation and sell exclusively online. We gotta try to help the company in these hard times. We AN forumers gotta stay united!!

If you have a tablet, certain sites like Viz and Kodonsha also sell online...

I kinda fluctuate between AnimeNation, RightStuf, Anime Corner Store, and Amazon.
