There was an anime on the encore action channel, where a girl had a crush on a guy and may have lived in her garage? This was a underground fighting show where there was a fighter who used his finger to target peoples nerves, like tear them off.

It was like an underground fighting scene anime with doctors who heal people? Ahh some underground tournament.

Is Grappler Baki really that old? *checks* Well, it aired in Japan 12 years ago, but it didn't appear on DVD in US until 2005 for the first season, and 2006 for season 2.

The OVA got a domestic release in 1998.
