Super Robot Wars OG 3 / Original Generations 2

Well I'll be calling it OG3, but the official title is OGs 2.

Meant to post this earlier in the week, but banpreseto have announced (finally) what everyone knew was in the works - new OG game picking up after the events of OG Gaiden.

Brief Summary:

- PS3, unsurprisingly. Looks gorgeous.
- Josh from SRW D, not clear on Rin yet.
- Aqua from MX, carrying on from Hugo's plot in Gaiden.
- Irm finally gets the Grungust Kai (his mech from SRW Alpha)
- Raioh

as foreshadowed in Gaiden.
- Some girl from Real Robot Regiment.
- Finally upgraded Gespents for Katina and Russel.

Out in August, to which I say,

Beware Bullet. He is a Char.

Man, these SRW games are really piling up on me. I haven't finished OGs, nor touched Gaiden yet. Not to mention the entire Z series.

Can't wait to see SRWJ in an OG game.

The final boss is Juses Gozzo. Bricks were shat. That is all.

He hijacks AI1 and Nashim Ganeden and combines them with the Crossgate and Ing/Exexebein.

His strongest attack summons Black Judecca, Astranagant, Dis Astranagant, and both Ganedens. He has been confirmed for the ultimate final villain in all of SRW.

He also summons Volkruss as a mook enemy during the true final battle. And he was responsible for nearly every major negative event thus far in the OG series. That guy Nibhal was working for him all along. It's strongly implied that Egret was, too. You know how it works: "それも私だ." "それも私だ." "それも私だ."

He's also technically immortal, the collected memories of every incarnation are passed on to the next, and he can control the fates of everyone but himself.

And his theme song is a mix of The Omnipotent Arbiter and The Arrow of Destiny.

I have never been more pleased with a SRW game's finale.
