Oddly enough, my favorite Macross series is Macross 7. It's actually tied with Zoids(in general) as my favorite anime of all time. I liked Basara quite a bit. I hated him at the start, but I grew to like him by the end. It definitely had the best soundtrack out of all the Macross series(Totsugeki Love Heart is even my favorite anime song). Not to mention that the art and animation were great for a TV series. |

I wouldn't say the music is as great as Macross Plus, but I do love Macross 7's music. But like I said before, it can get repetitive.
