Plurals and possessives
It is generally pretty simple

car = singular
cars = plural
car's = possessive/belonging to the car

The headlights belonging to five cars are five car's headlights not five cars headlight's.

Plurals do not take an apostrophe. At all. Ever. No. Well they do in one case but otherwise not ever.

Another place I have seen little roadside memorials in Fresno is near bus stops on busy streets. Why you ask? You didn't ask? Well I am going to tell you anyway because otherwise this blog entry will be short and rather pointless.

People get hit walking out into traffic so they can look up the street and see if the bus is coming. They lose their lives doing this completely pointless and useless thing. The bus will get there when...

Near where my sister lives, there is a comple of apartment buildings. They front on to a busy North/South street. If you go North from the apartments you come to a well lit, controlled intersection with a small shopping center on the far side of it. From where the apartments are up to that intersection, the street is quite dark.

For years, I have been seeing little roadside memorials on that street a hundred feet or so South if the intersection. One will be there for a while....

The remake of True Grit was better than the original in every way. Jeff bridges is a far better actor than John Wayne ever was.

The idea it is expressing is obvious. Accidents involving motorcycles and automobiles are caused by automobile drivers simply being inattentive and not looking.
