*STARVING ARTIST ALERT*

Work has been cutting my hours down drastically (eight a week, for the last three weeks) and I am in a serious money crunch.

I'm looking for another job, but no bites so far.

I thought I'd open commissions to get some extra money (and afford things like...you know...food and such).

So, since I have been rather a downer in my last few blog posts, I thought I'd talk about two (count them TWO) new artistic venues I've begun in the last month since I've had...so much more free time.

Shiroiyuki Presents: a new comic book series

The story has been WIP for almost....eight, nine years. I had the plot/characters completely worked out in my mind and down on paper for a long time but I never felt confident enough in my art to do them justice. I'm very protective...

So I have found myself in a particularly nasty rut as far as artwork goes and need some help. Yes, that's right; I am asking for help.

So here it is:


Inspire me. I bought a whole new drawing pad just for the occasion. Or not, whatever. I just bought it because it was pretty and I had a few bucks in my purse.

And if you must know, it looked rather sad sitting alone on the shelf. I felt it needed a good home. Of course it had to settle for me instead....

So I just looked up at my post count and saw 1,338 -- which means I missed out on celebrating my milestone 1337!! GAH, I've been waiting for it all month.

Damnit, I'll have to now wait until I'm over 9000 or something like that.

*curses*.

Originally my 'Ten Things To Do' list, but I'm so boring I could only think of five (or apparently six) -- and even then I was grasping at straws.

Not that I will probably do any of these things knowing my luck, but still. I remain ever so hopeful. Really.

In no particular order, since I don't actually care:

1. Get Married. I don't know why I even bother with this one since I'd have a greater chance of winning the lottery, becoming an overnight pop sensation...
