I haven't updated in a while because quite a bit has been going on. My creativity has been in overdrive, so I'm taking full advantage of that. Some of the results I put up in the Jellybean Gallery. I have some other things I want to work on that will most likely be even more time consuming. There's that and balancing life in general.
When I am on, I'm waiting for my request for a name change to be granted. It's been well over a month, almost two since I first requested a name change. I know they're probably buisy, so I'll be patient. The name I use was just something funny or something that sounded funny to me years ago, it's not really what I want, not do I feel it fits.
When it comes to watching anime, I think I may have found the clue to it not being overwealming with there being so much I'd like to see. You just have to stop worrying and watch when you feel like it. Don't worry about watching multiple shows at once, watch whichever you feel when you feel like it and don't worry about how quickly you finish. Sometimes taking your time gives you time to savour something you enjoy.
I just got the first boxed set of Yawara!. It's a really cool, fun, humourous show. I was pleasently surprised to find it at Best Buy since I thought they were only going to focus on the most popular titles, which would mean classics would be out of the question.
Mahoushoujo history part II is still on hold, mostly as it will be very time consuming to put togeather, but when it is up, it will be worth it.
Take care everyone.

What will you be changing your name to?
It's important not to get overwhelmed by your backlog, I don't even think about the things I own as a backlog anymore, since that's a queue of things to do, a tasklist, and this is recreation. It shouldn't be anything stressful.
I think of things more like... I just have a big library where I can browse and choose whatever I like. It gives me more freedom.
It's the equivalent of having a kitchen with every single type of food in the world, and I can go "what would I like today? Curry? Ice cream? All sorts of things I like are here"... except there are no eat-by dates. There's no hurry. You get the luxury of as wide a choice as your collection stretches.
It's important to view a good thing such as a collection of wonderful anime in a positive light.Posted July 14th, 2009 at 08:24 AM by tenshi_a

Well, I had asked for my name to be changed to MahouNoJellybeans, to complete the magical theme.
Yeah, I know it sounds sappy, but I'm cool with it.
That way of looking at backlogs as a wonderful library of anime is the logic that I was heading for. You put it into words much better than I could have
. The more that I think about it, having a wide selection to choose from is an amazing thing.Posted July 14th, 2009 at 11:16 AM by doom&jellybeans
