Big news, people! Since I'm on LOA and have so much free time, I decided to get back into drawing. I've neglected it something fierce lately.
It's been hard trying to sit up long enough to record a video, but I now have the INTRO PART 1 of my BRAND NEW YOUTUBE TUTORIAL SERIES up and running!
GO CHECK IT OUT! Comment, subscribe, love it.
(Please disregard the other video on there...as soon as the contest closes, I'll be moving it to "private" to get it off my channel.)
It's going to be purely traditional artwork for now, since my main computer has died...and it had my photoshop (*sigh*). I'll be sketching, inking, watercoloring, copic markering (is that a word...?), and colored pencilling (again, who knows?).
It's going to be EPIC.
So anyway, go check it out if you have the time. The link is below:
[Insert shameless self-promotion plug here]
If you have any suggestions for tutorial segments, just ask! I'd love some feedback. The intro part one and two are just quick runs through my drawing process to get people used to me and my style. The actual tutorials will be more in-depth.
Thanks

Yes, I noticed this too! Gah, I was so mad.....Quote:Sweet stuff you got.
My only suggestion is to maybe find some sort of lighting to go behind the paper sheet (like a lamp under a glass table) because the first lines you make are invisible. Lighting in general could be improved.
I otherwise have nothing to add. Keep it up!
While I was making the video I could see the lines (even in full screen) on my editting program, so I'm wondering if maybe when the thing rendered it just lost some details. I don't know. I'll try to get a lamp or something since my artwork is taped directly onto my table *sigh*.
Shame I don't have a glass table, eh?Posted February 11th, 2011 at 03:48 AM by Shiroiyuki

Horrible, isn't it? I swears, if I don't win that makeup...I'd have degraded myself for nothing.
You should totally start drawing again! And post it!Quote:Anyway, nice vid. Some very good tips there! Man, I've been neglecting drawing something shocking. I have been ever since I got the internet
lol.
Thank you, thank you! I was concerned about the music, but since I didn't want to talk through the whole damned thing, it was that or static. *shrugs*Quote:Beautiful drawing (as usual) and I really like the music you put on there too.
