I recently came across this video from AKB48 off the internet. (Link below)

The song is called "Seifuku ga Jama wo suru" English : "My school uniform is getting in the way"
The lyrics of this song are pretty sexual with lines such as "Take off my uniform." and "I want to experience adult pleasure."
And the video isn't any better either. I do applaud the dance moves and how all 20 or 30 of them do it all in sync. But it shows a dark side of Japan that is all too common. If you watch the video towards the end, it shows one of the members walking off with an older man. Now I was shocked, yet not suprised at all due to the fact that this is all to common that Japanese schoolgirls will date older men for money. I'll probably do a thread about it (if if is allowed by the mods) and let everybody share their opinions.

I actually liked the video. I liked the juxtaposition of the overtly promiscuous choreography and lyrics with the completely unglamorous "and this is the reality" shots.
It captured the mental dissonance between the schoolgirls' romanticized "I want to be an adult woman" thoughts and the ugly reality of teenage whoredom pretty well, I thought.
It was also nice to hear that many Japanese girls sing in a vocal range audible to humans, rather than the typically JPop-idol-shrill range audible to only dogs and bats.Posted June 11th, 2012 at 07:53 PM by Leader Desslock

True that, It wasn't the video that really got my laughing (cause I really think these girls are hot) but it was the lyrics that made my mouth drop.
