Ugh...what should I write...I KNOW!
MY TIME AT MANIFEST 2011!
One of the best conventions I've been to in my life!
Quick rundown:
-Arrived at the showgrounds just before 11am. Fortunately no 'running man' incident like the other year.
-Bought Some manga to keep me busy...oh and Fruits Basket is now officially the SECOND manga I've finished collecting/reading.
-Bought Birdy the Mighty (2008) seasons 1 and 2 for 50 dollars each. So far its a good show with things I like. Intruiging plot. Cute (though slightly odd looking) asskicker of a girl voiced by Luci Christian. Kinda cute looking boy having to share a body with her. Said boy having to keep a secret from friends (Always interesting). Gender transformation scene-IT'S A POOF TRANSFORMATION? FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
*Experiencing difficulties...*
Ok, maybe not a preferred transformation scene choice for me but still a good show. Oh and Michael Tatum playing an effeminate jellyfish robot and Todd "I may as well become the new Vic Mignogna" Haberkorn as a villian named SHAMAYLAN (What a twist!) is also what to expect.
-Team Four Star panel. They aired the debut of episode 25. Racuious laughter for all who saw it.
Best line: "Better question is, why did I tell him(Krillin) he was immortal?"
- Nandos chicken had a van, so I bought a wrap, chips, spicy dipping sauce and water...for 20 bucks. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
*More techical difficulties*
-ASUKA LANGLEY SHIKINAMI/SOHYU AND HARUHI FREAKIN SUZUMIYA PLUSHIES!
-Taking pictures of random cosplayers with my new phone. Wanted to show them to friends of mine.
-Meeting Littlekuriboh for the second time though I had no intention of getting his autograph agin...until I decided to get one anyway for a very good Deviantart friend of mine.
-HE (KINDA) REMEMBERS MY ARTWORK! LITTLEKURIBOH (KINDA) REMEMBERS MY ARTWORK!
-Getting Lanipator and Kaiserneko's autographs by using a picture of Yusuke (Lanipators YYH abridged) and Lupin III (Kaiser's Lupin III abridged)
-Kaisers (paraphrased) words when he saw said picture: "OH GOD I LOVE YOU!"
-Marianne Millers (Yuuno from Nanoha) autograph...though for the first time I didn't have a drawing for said autograph (Haven't heard much of her characters yet). But she signed the program so good enough. Must draw something for her before her next visit.
So all in all, it was a good day. (Wait didn't someone get attacked by the Cloverfield monster when they said tha- AGHHHHHHHHHHHH!)
