Yeah they are making Alpha 2 for the Ryu Vs. Akuma fight we didnt get to see in the 1st OVA's.

But I want SF3!

SNK is in the toilet, they can barely make the KOF series let alone a new anime. And that makes me sooo happy!:D

To tell you the truth about Hentai is that it is just like anime except they some skin and get noddy. But nothing can match a real person. If your saying turned on by it I know guys would get turned on me a real persom instead of a an animated figure. But I would never do that to myself. :shy:

It would be nice if they did. I have seen many games like King of Fighters Kyo which came out in japan in 1998 where the characters were animated, I wish they extended that.

They'd probably need an animation studio to buy the rights to one of the games and finance the animation with their own money.

With games like Shock Troopers, the Metal Slug Series, KOF, Samurai Showdown Series (Best Fighting Games Ever IMO), Last Blade, and Sengoku. I have always, and will always love Snk's style of gaming.

no she's not. actually, its debatable. samurai shodown 2 and darkstalkers came out at about the same time, so there's no way they could be rip offs of each other.

a real ripoff would be Dan. he's capcoms stab at the art of fighting team in KOF :P

I used to think Capcom reigned supreme... get ready for a story ladies n' gentlemen (okay maybe not). Having played Last Blade, Garou (so smooth :drool: ) + KOF ad infinitum, my estimations of SNK have risen dramatically. That, however is not to say that these games are not the button 'mish-mash''s which SeannyB referred to earlier - so vary from you're archetypal SF moves to ones which are marginally more complicated.
However, one game in particular which no one has cared to mention (well insofar as I read) is REAL BOUT 2 ! This game required an intimate knowledge of moves and integration of tactic n' skill. This is what fighting games should amount to. Not mindless rehashes (ie. SF... ahem...) but a challenge.

To my mind, I like both equallyand for completely different reasons (each series brings with it different memories) - you'd be missing out on a lot if you liked one to the exclusion of the other.

So, what was this thread talking about again... right, another movie (along the lines of Fatal Fury 1-2)... or something. Um yeah... another movie... yeah.

Kim Sue-Il (or maybe it's Kim Young Mok....:???: I forgot....)is a character from a 1996 (I believe that's the year it was made) forgotten SNK game, Kizuna Encounter. He is either Kim Kaphwan's grandson or great-grandson, and he fights with a staff and a slick-looking suit.

In SS I'm mainly a Haoh/ Gen user...they are my strongEST charas...nasty win records with them...('member... when I used to think gen was a boinkable, I played with him as much as I used Haoh) the two have an about 95 to 1 win/loss record...

Still pretty nasty with the rest of them, except Amakusa Shiro and Gaira...since Galord's like a half a$$ed I wanna be a ninja, and I played a very mean Hanzo (who has some similar moves), the stupid boy scout was an easy learn...

I dunno... SS was a title that i got the hang of pretty quickly...before I played SS, I couldn't Hadoken to save my life... it really wasn't pretty.//

True there. GGX was why too weird and didn't intrest me at all. SNK had way better character than Capcom. I remember playing CvS2 with my friend since he said he wanted to fight me. We played 30 or more times and I kicked his a** every single time.

SNK kills capcom when it comes to gameplay too. Many Capcom games are all flash justlike Marvel vs. Capcom 2. I can't say that I hate Capcom because they make some great games too. When it comes to fighting games there are simply not in the same league as SNK's games. I will always love SNK for its great games.

In my opinion I don't think anyone will ever top SNK's Samuari Spirits series. In this series love Galford, Charlottle, Tachibana Ukyo, Haohmaru, and of course Nakoruru and Rimururu. The gameplay of Samurai Spirits is absolutely incredable.

The King of Fighters series has always been great to play. It might not have the best graphics but again when it comes to gameplay KOF was always be on top of other newer fighting games. My favorites are always going to be Athena Asamiya, Kasumi Todo, Chris, Yashiro, and many others. Other SNK series like Metal Slug are very fun to play too.

I love SNK so much, It is absolutely true, when it comes to character designs SNK rules. I give cheers to Capcom for doing a series called Capcom vs. SNK. Im glad Capcom noticed how great SNK was. I hope I get to see future SNK games from Playmore in the future. KOF 2002 looks great!!!!

Oh yeah. Capcom isn't really "mostly" over the top fighters, like the VS series. They're better known for them, though. The better part of the series was Street Fighter 2 (which is like....99 percent of the Capcom fighting franchise... haha), after all. Also, I wouldn't say they(SNK) "kill" Capcom in terms of gameplay..in characters, without a doubt, but not gameplay. More like a 60/40 fight, simply because SNK has more variety in types of fighters. I still find Alpha 3 addictive to play. Course, that could just be Daigo Umeharas influence.... Gem Fighters is also very fun. =) But, still I do like SNK a lot more than Capcom, overall.

Fun fact: Did you know the SNK staff were originally part of Capcom? They became disgruntled, and left...thus forming SNK.

What I want more than anything is KoF 2k2, RotD and some other great SNK fighters going onto X-Box LIVE.. but that's pretty doubtful. Kaillera is ok...but the lag....

GGX has great charatcers. All very original and cool. Its a great game series... But anyway. None of my friends can touch me if I get serious in CvS2. And I can usually win at the arcade too. I love CvS2. And I pretty much use only SNK characters too. I think the only Capcom characters I use are Ken, sometimes Ryu, and Sakura. But use almost every SNK character except Raiden, Vice, Benimaru, Chang, and a that'sa bout it.

Arc Systems has done something very good creating this series. I love the characters, gameply, and music of Guilty Gear. I look forward to getting Guitly Gear XX when its released. My favorite characters are Sol, May, and Dizzy. I love the Guitly Gear series!!

Because they are better! That's why. Capcom lost the CvS battle before it started. So they had to take the SNK fighter's down a notch. But it's not so bad in CvS2. In CvS1 it was horrible, but it's was a lot better in CvS2. But some characters play completely different than they originaly did, like Hibiki for instance. In CvS2 she plays nothing like in Last Blade 2. But it's ok... I really love playing CvS2.

Street Fighter combo system was more leniant. Cross-ups allowed easier combos from air to ground chains. And it was weakened because CVS/2 at the heart, is still a Capcom developed fighter.

Nakoruru is one of the strongest fighters in the Samuari Spirits series. The original "Nature" girl of Samurai Spirits accompanied by Mamahaha combined with her quickness makes her one of the best. I love Nakoruru so much!! ^_^

Sadly she isn't a fighter in Capcom vs. SNK 2. The only games Vanessa has appeared in are KOF'00, KOF'01, and KOF'02. Vanessa also made an appearance as a bouus striker in KOF Evolution for the Dreamcast. She never appeared in the original KOF'99.

That's a good question! Why do I love Nakoruru so much? Well just look at her. First off, she's adorable. I love that cute bow in her hair. Her Ainu clothing is very unique and very pretty. The clothing brings up another point. Nakoruru doesn't need to strut around half naked like Mai Shiranui and MANY others to look beautiful. Her beauty is a sweet, gentle, and modest beauty. I suppose it my be an aquired taste... since almost NO one seems to know who she is, or like her very much.

I love everything about her. She has the sweetest voice, the most beautiful gentle eyes, and a strong passion to protect nature. Not to mention the skills with the kodachi to back it up. I really admire her. And I've liked her since I first saw her in Samurai Shodown 1. Plus she's just plain cute:crush:!

My question is why doesn't anyone else like her? Because she isn't half naked? So what... Because she isn't well known? I guess I can understand that. Why? Oh well, that's fine with me. That means I don't have to fight over her. And that's good for you guys, because I'd fight to the death for Nakoruru.

I love using her. I'm not great with her yet, but right now I'm practicing with her and Hinako. She has moves that are similar to K's, if you've ever used him... Except that she uses ice attacks rather than fire. I think she's beautiful.

Sure, in Japan.... Once again the US gets the shaft. It seems King of Fighters games aren't very popular over here. So we don't tend to get them very often... the most recent KOF game I own is KOF Evolution (KOF99) for Sega Dreamcast. It's cool, cuz K' is in it, but Kula is not. She was a sub boss in KOF2000.... That was her first appearance. I really hope we get KOF2000 soon... I know Yuri-chan has KOF2000 Japanese import for her Dreamcast (lucky girl!).

Well, that's the thing... I am SUCH a sucker for a cute girl... Sexy is nice, but cute really does it for me...

And SNK freaking rocks, dude... Don't diss SNK. I'll take SNK over Capcom any day of the week. And I'm a big Capcom fan, too... Honestly, I really like Capcom, I just love SNK more. Capcom has made a lot of really great games. I LOVE Mega Man games, for instance. But SNK's character designs are so much better... seriously. KOF characters have so much more style and personality than Street Fighter characters. And that's not even mentioning the awesome Last Blade, Samurai Showdown, or Garou characters, all of whom have just as much, if not more style and personality than the KOF charatcers.

Card Fighter's Clash is a card battling game... It's similar to the Pokemon Trading card game.... kinda... But you play it a lot differently. It's really fun, in fact I've been thinking about playing it again. You walk around and find other people in the game to battle against, and if you win you can got more cards from them. There are a lot of common cards and some rare ones that are really good. You will get different cards depending on what version you have... (damn it! I wish I had the stupid SNK version!)

I bought it and I had no clue what it was! The reason I bought it was be cause it said "SNK vs. Capcom" on it. But it explain all the rules and gives you tutorials on how to play. So in a short while I was card battling my way through the game. Sometimes the computer can be cheap, but its always pretty fun.

Oh, man... It's been so long... I believe that when you attack with a card, which ever of the opponents cards you attack, you subtract the battle points, and whoever still has battle points wins and the other card is removed... but don't quote me on that, It's been a LONG time since I actually was playing this game.
