How many final exams, papers, and/or projects do you have left?
How relieved are you that this semester is over?
Did the semester go way too fast for anyone else? Well, I guess there's no such thing as a semester that goes by too fast.

I finished the semester last week.
Had two take home finals (6pg essays) and 3 finals proper. Wasn't too big a deal. Never is. Semester did go bizarrely fast compared to how it usually feels.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks so. It must be global warming.
I have just one paper and one final left for one class, and then I'm all done.

None left for this term (although plenty left for next term!) I've just got two lectures left tomorrow (all the rest of the lecturers have wrapped it up for the year)

I guess I'm still a college student.. of sorts. My semester went fast, especially when I rotated in OB/GYN. The long sleepless nights made time go way fast and last November went fairly quickly because my last rotation is in preventive medicine and all you do all day is paperwork and sleep and not do actual work (that's why it's called the vacations rotation). I even got vacations during the rotation to boot, I have to go back to work on Monday. Still have 4 call left, but my internship ends Dec 31st at 3 pm, sweet. Did my first professional exam a few weeks ago, still don't know if I passed or not (I hope I pass!).

Finished last week. 3 finals, no papers. Terrible quarter.

Only have one final left this sunday, which I hear is the hardest thing ever from students who've done it (I had to re-schedule due to a time conflict). At least I have nothing until then to give me plenty of time to study.

A final on Sunday? School is open on Sundays?
Well my last group paper is done, now all I need to do is finish the take home final and then I'm home free.

Yeah, my uni has exams on weekends sometimes to accommodate working students.
Anyway, half the class (~of 220 students) is raising a total ****storm in the class' forums because of the exam's difficulty. Apparently the department only wanted a 50% pass rate which is absolute idiocy if true.
If stuff goes my way I'll be getting an easier exam on sunday because of the protest. I'm going to be a happy student if so. :D

Ahhh, so it's not a regular thing, just need based. That's understandable, I like it in fact.
Haha hope everything goes well for you then. Any idea about what'll happen to the students that already took it?

Everything's almost over... I've got one more comic to finish, 1 class of Storytelling and 1 class of Inking left for the year. Biggest relief ever- I've never had more work in my entire life.

I only have 3 actual finals but had 4 papers to complete. One of those was 15 pages, another 12, another 10 and one 20 and had to make powerpoints as well. Totally rocked those papers by the way. I have my first final tomorrow and my last two next week.

I take it you're going to be a comic artist when you grow up?

I physically cringed when I read that. That's way too many papers, and way too long.
Today I'm off until 7pm. I should probably finish my final

In the UK we have our exams after Xmas or at least at my uni we do, this gives us time to revise over the holidays.

Sounds like exactly what I don't want to do lol.
I'd rather get the stress out of the way first, and then have all of break to relax.

The US and UK always seem to do things different with school and stuff, like you, I prefer our way of doing it, I find it better to revise over the holidays instead of revising while uni is still on, you can just pick your days and times to revise.

I guess a lot of people here wouldn't mind that either, and maybe once I actually start my major/minor courses, I would too, but at this point, there doesn't seem to be much point for me to study more than I do in class since it's just general classes.

No idea. They're still petitioning the department, though they hope the exam grade will be curved.

Alright, short rant here as an update to my previous posts so I don't go berserk over public university forums.
So I kept up with all the responses... and it's turned into complete whining. The newest stuff cropping up has guys admitting they've never gotten anything less than 85% before in their life, and they cried a bit during the exam because their grade is now going to drop below that.
WTF?
I feel like punching something. Hard. And brutally. Bunch of pussies. I was sympathetic before, but now I just want them all to fail as a lesson in life. Ugh.

I wouldn't know, but I'd guess some might be. There aren't many groups of students who would care that much about their grades.

Ugh, I hate it when people get too serious about their GPAs and exam scores.
An A is an A last time I checked, 99% doesn't seem that much of a difference over 100%.
Anyways, I'm finally done with my finals. It ended with my marketing teacher recommending some books for us, like 'The Prophet' and talking about his deceased friend and telling us not to waste life. He even wiped a tear from his eye.
The kids (yeah, there are people older than me too, they're still kids) treat him so bad.

I presented a ten-minute persuasion essay yesterday for my English class.
And tonight I finished my final in Lightwave (check out my art thread and/or blog to see images. Blog is better; has progress pictures).
Now I just have my exam in Intro to Computer Animation on Monday and I'll be done COMPLETELY. Woot!

Exam tomorrow in Electromechanical Systems Integration. And then two exams on Saturday in Electrical and Logic Systems.
I've already written finals for a drafting course I was taking and a practical lab final (Made one 'ittle mistake and knocked 30% of my mark... was lame).
And then I'm done. This semester went by ridiculously fast. That said, I'm still really looking forward to a couple weeks off.

Did my first professional exam a few weeks ago, still don't know if I passed or not (I hope I pass!).
I just found out yesterday that I passed this exam. Just have to wait for my practical exam date (which will be far more easy than my written exam) which should be in 3 weeks and get my plaza for my social service.
With my first professional exam passed, I'm like.. practically an MD, creepy. Better go watch some anime or somethin'. :P

^ Congrats! I know a few med students, and the amount of work necessary to get there is enormous. You deserve it!
As for myself, and to put a cap on my previous posts, I had my exam today. It was actually relatively easy, but the clincher was the last question (which I didn't have to answer since I could choose two out of three questions to respond to). It was basically "University students complained that their exam was a real killer, so in their mercy we have decided to bell-curve their grades." (much longer than that, but it's the idea)
Then we had questions such as "is it collectively more beneficial for students to study hard or poorly?", "as an individual, are you more motivated towards studying hard or free riding?", "Use the Prisoner's Dilemma to put this quandary into focus" (We basically had to use Game Theory in our answers).
They even included quotes directly taken from e-mails. It was too funny, I had to choose to answer it. :P

I'm in a TV studio class, so our final project was putting on a production. It was pretty easy. We had our term paper in the middle of the quarter. Evergreen works a little differently than most other colleges, so its a little wonky. I've been on break though since last Monday.

I finished finals like last week. I got to work, I had two projects due Monday night, I pretty much woke up.. and reached for my laptop to start troubleshooting and coding. I ended up turning my PC on also to work on both simultaneously.
On top of that I pwnd my final exams, I got some really high scores to give my grade that final push.
right before my CS1 test I was quizzing a friend on the run time of like mergesort or something and that same question showed up on the test (n log n (base 2) constant btw).

My physics teacher has us do quizzes every class rather than tests. I'd say I much prefer it, what a cool guy.
As for paperwork, hardly any, except for a big project due in about two weeks that I haven't even started on.
