So it's my little sisters birthday (hear me out, I'm not a creeper) and I'm at Walmart looking for a gift. I find a big-ol stuff dog that's pretty cheap, so I buy it. Girl at the express lane is I'd say a teenager. She checks it out and says that it's such a cute animal, and asks if it's for my girlfriend. I tell her its for my sister. Middle aged woman overhears and tells me that it's an excellent gift that I chose out.

Stuffed Animals are always a good thing to get along with Candy and Flowers/Plants. Both will die and shrivel up. In the case of a flower being trapped in an air-tight container (like an envelope for instance), it will die and get really mushy instead. Yum.

So unless you want her letter to be stained, nasty, and/or gooey, skip the petals and go with the whole shebang. Buy it no more than a couple days beforehand (if you can't find any Christmas, Christmas Eve).
