I'm pretty sure the Founding Fathers never considered this sort of crime when they prohibited cruel and unusual punishment.

Her punishment should be incredibly cruel and grotesquely original. Like... sanding her to death with a belt sander, starting with the feet. Or freezing her in liquid nitrogen, then dropping her from an aircraft into a swimming pool full of Rubik's cubes.

I think punishment should focus on mental punishment rather than death. The death penalty is too swift for people like this. Unfortunately not. She was conscious the whole time, but thankfully so, otherwise she wouldn't have been able to escape.

The shittiest part of the whole thing is that sick woman went to sleep after seeing that she was in too much pain to go on. Went to sleep like none of it mattered.
