New Layout/Banner?

Not really loving the new layout on the main page (especially the 'Powered by Yahoo!' tag). When did you guys switch, just today?

I logged in and went to the site...and was like whoa! I really like the new layout! Information is a little easier to find and much more appealing. Any plans to overhaul the forums too? I wouldn't mind:)

The Powered by Yahoo tag shows potential customers that the site is run with Yahoo's e-commerce solution. In fact, I believe AN was one of the first online stores to use the platform when they launched the store in its current form in 1996.

You know, I had to hit the Wayback Machine to see what it used to look like (even though it's missing everything from 8/08 onward), because I'd already forgotten the layout. I did realize that it was missing the second row of ads, and now doesn't need any scrolling up and down the page..

It used to be called 'Viaweb' before they were gobbled up by Yahoo way back in the day. Back then, I think there were only a couple guys (the devs) and you could call and get them on the phone when you had store questions. Whew...

I don't feel the change is significant, and I hope the anime in the banner represents one of your bestsellers or a new hot potential. If not, sorry, but loose the naruto <.<;;
