No poll, there are too many. I don't want to go by saga, since some of the worst arcs have come right at the end or the beginning of an otherwise really great saga.

For example, the East Blue saga... why did it have to be wrapped up with an arc that was boring and just doesn't fit? The Warship Island arc is not my least favourite, but it is way up there. It's really unlikely they would have made a stop between Loguetown and the Grand Line, if you ask me. Then there's the continuity screw-up caused by Zoro being able to cut steel a few dozen episodes too early. It wouldn't have been so terrible if it had been properly placed, I guess... there are many better filler arcs, in fact One Piece has some of the best ones I've ever seen.

My least favourite though is a canon arc, or at least partly so in the anime version. I really didn't enjoy the Davy Back Fight arc at all. It just fell completely flat for me. My continual frustration at the ways the Foxy Pirates found to cheat just kept building, and overall the whole concept of the fight seemed stupid. It would be more in character for Zoro to just request and receive permission from Lufffy to slice and dice the Foxy Pirates before the fight began. As demonstrated, Robin's power can keep Foxy himself in check, so they'd be no match for the Straw Hats. Seven strong pirates (okay, 4 strong, 2 decent, 1 weakling) are more than a match for hundreds of grunts.

The only thing that rescued it was the Afro Luffy fight, and to be blunt I'd gladly trade that for the removal of the rest of the arc. The previous filler arc was much more fun.

Those are mine, what are yours?

Thriller Bark is my least favorite, but it is by no means bad. Just the villains outside of Moria and Perona were stupid. The worst filler was without a doubt the post Alabasta stuff, I don't think I could watch it again even with the **** Bandits and Mountain Whale ****.

Two words: "Amazon Lily"

Why?

Two more words: "family jewels"

Okay, so the "Kuja" (the female-only race of the island) had never even seen a man before. Japanese or American, I personally found it...idiotic (to put it lightly) that Oda would "take advantage" of this idea. IMHO, it was unnecessary, and I think he could have done this story arc better. Then there's the matter of Boa Hancock's "complete monster" status, only for the arc to do a 180 and give her some kind of backstory in order to either "humanize" her and/or to justify her initial portrayal. Oh sure, previous story arcs (and previous anime and manga) have done this before, but not like this (anyhow, it's a long story).

It may have been a "transitional" story arc between the Saobody Archipealago (sp?) and Impel Down, but I still think he (Oda) and they (Toei) could have done better, even if his initial design for Boa Hancock had existed prior to this.

This arc popped into my head when I saw this thread but when I thought about the progression it brought forward to the story it stopped me giving it a mention. It had it's ups and downs but on the whole was quite a disappointing arc (by One Piece's standards) even though there were some really interesting bits here and there.

I enjoyed Thriller Bark a lot. My least favourite arc was when they ended up getting their memories stolen by that one kid, although that was all filler and flashbacks so what do you expect. Other than that, I guess Lougetown. Buggy doesn't do it for me. Although Smoker is badass enough to make up for him... Okay, I don't know.
